I am not sure if she would frown down upon it or not. However I am super insecure about it and don't wish to make it publicly known. Like Superman, I have to keep my true identity hidden.

Watching the remake of Shogun. Can only remember small parts of the original series back in the 80's as I was really young when I had seen it. Not a bad show.STORMSHADOW__210 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 1:39 am Hey guys

I started episode 8 last night but didn't finish it yet. I have been stretching it out over several weeks as some nights I am too tired to read the captions. lol

Re: The Breakroom
You would be surprised how many peoples have been screwed by the supposedly 'white knight' England. I doubt as many as have been screwed and mistreated by the US government. But those chickens are coming home to roost very soon. All the countries we have stepped on over the past 200 years are going to want payback.Doc Proto wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 4:24 pmYeah Shogun is really good if your into samurai stuff and history poor japan kinda got screwed by England. Re: The Breakroom
I think Japan may have been more screwed by Spain? Not 100% sure. They brought Catholicism to them and also established trading and all that. Before then Japan was very isolationist.Kal-El wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 10:11 pmYou would be surprised how many peoples have been screwed by the supposedly 'white knight' England. Re: The Breakroom
I'm not disputing Japan has been screwed over during the course of history. Yes. That happens.
But Japan is often portrayed as noble and honorable. From 1931 to 1941 they did unspeakable things to unarmed Chinese people. The goal was to exterminate the Chinese people and their culture, then take over the land.
But people skip over that decade of disgusting and say boo hoo why did America have to drop two atomic bombs on them?
Then people skip over the part of the US protecting them and allowing them to rebuild their economy without wasting money on military expenses.
