Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes, a cornerstone of the Captain America franchise, will not feature in Sam Wilson’s inaugural MCU movie. While Bucky’s omission dampens hopes for a reunion with Sam, Stan’s character is poised for a significant role in Marvel Studios’ “Thunderbolts.” As the leader of this ensemble, Bucky’s journey continues, promising a future within the MCU. Despite Bucky’s absence, “Captain America: Brave New World” introduces a compelling replacement in Joaquín Torres, portrayed by Danny Ramirez.
