Toy Hunting 2024
New year thread about sharing what you see while out and about.
Target has a lot of Python Patrol.
Also had Mutt & Junkyard. So I got him in the mail, but could have picked him up in store. Wondering if that will become a new trend?

Re: Toy Hunting 2024
Patience...
Non-window packaging will lead to more availability.
I'll be watching for deals. Target randomly switches them to 17.49, 12.49, 11.99, and sometimes 9.99. I paid full price first time for fear of missing out. But I'll hunt for deals. There are 5 or 6 Python Bubbles. Watching for deals on those too.
Not sure about Python Copperhead. Hate to buy a figure, take pictures one time and then drop him in a tote.

Same. Ever since I got that Dusty and Zarana from Ollie's for $4.99 I have only been buying Classified Joes for discounted prices. The exception being I just bought a CG and a Retro CG for around $22-25 each on walmart.com. I feel like I was going to lose out especially on the retro one.yorktownjoe wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 1:07 am Patience...

Re: Toy Hunting 2024
A friend told me they had Croc Master at Ross.
No Croc Master, but I found Snake-Eyes and white Timber for $11.99. That's a no brainier. (They only had one.) Also, one Akiko and 2 Xamot's.

Re: Toy Hunting 2024
I am looking for either Retro Snake Eyes or the v1 version that came with Timber (I think it is listed as Alpha Commandos?). Though I am sure those two will be harder to find. I think its Wal-Mart that has the set for $44.yorktownjoe wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 1:37 am A friend told me they had Croc Master at Ross.

Keep your eye on them python bubbles, I'm kinda in the market for one. But ofc our target don't stock it I'd have to order it but hey if it goes on sale let me know. Also have you seen Turtles of Grayskull yet? Our stores have none of them yet.

Re: Toy Hunting 2024
I have target gift cards i have saved up to get the PP Trouble Bubble but right now they are making me drive into the store for pickup and i don't have the time to drive 30 minutes just for that with my college right now. I find it totally GAY that they can't just ship it too me.

Re: Toy Hunting 2024
The last few times I have been, my Target has 4 or 5 bubbles. I'll watch for sales.
For those wanting them shipped to them, what can I tell ya? Get a Target Red Card. Free shipping, plus 5% off. If you have gift cards, you can use them to pay the card bill.
If one of us buys something that large, it would be $12 to $16 out of pocket to get it shipped to a buddy.
Take advantage when merchants ship to you for free...
Unless I'm mistaken and they only have store pickup in some areas?? I could be way off. Apologies in advance if that's the case...

Yeah, I don't buy anything from them except Joe's. I wish I could skip them altogether because of their terrible agendas.john shaft wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 1:21 am I am on Target's website and it says ships free with their commie Red Card or $35 orders.
But the only other way is preordering Target exclusives on Pulse if they last beyond a few minutes.

Re: Toy Hunting 2024
For sure and shamefully I have bought a few Joes from them recently. Really want those three Python Patrol's they currently have out (Copperhead, Officer and Tele-Viper) but really wishing they would go on sale.yorktownjoe wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 1:24 amYeah, I don't buy anything from them except Joe's. Hey me too. Actually I don't buy anything from the big box stores except joes and a occasional tf or motu figure.

Re: Toy Hunting 2024
Hope they don't "figure" out we are only using them for figures.
Their goal with exclusives is to get foot traffic so people also buy soda, snacks, clothes, diapers, toothpaste, decor, electronics, and sundry other items.
Just a few bucks for action figures from me...
