There is also a pretty grisly picture of Bludd after losing his eye from the previous issue.

And I think Destro or the Commander is seen in the shadows, just a little bit of a glove and sleeve long with an order to Scrap Iron to fire on Duke.

Absolutely no packing material. Just two figures tight in a box.

I must admit, windows look good...even though I got used to the last style.

And I am definitely a fan of the windows and not the other style, especially some of the art that looked too "kid-ish".

They COULD re-release the same exact figures with the same numbers and this packaging to help all the in box collectors. (Just for the windowless boxes)

But all the folks who got out and sold their collections when the packaging changed would lose their minds...

Funny how a bad quarter or two and suddenly, there's a shift in the wind on whether plastic free packaging would actually change the world in the next 2,000 years...

Could you see Hasbro buying back those figures from Ross and Ollie's, throwing away the bad packaging, then putting the figures and accessories in this packaging?

For the record, I bought and skipped figures based on how I felt at the moment.

I myself am not fully going "completist" but buying the ones I think are more the core characters or as close to completing each year as possible. For instance I feel 82-86 characters should be complete but not really that invested in the later characters (Jinx, Metal Head, almost every ninja not named Storm Shadow, etc). Although I am not big on Quick Kick (no shoes and no shirt do not cut it in the military) I still got him to fill in the '85 slot.

So maybe I am a half completist? lol

I'll see about adding QK, and I'm sure I'll grab him some time at a retail store. Same with Big Boa. Very cool, but no FOMO there. Confident both those will be available.

I appreciate some of the more "out there" characters now. But the nostalgia is really for those earlier characters.

I ordered the soldier, 2 divers, and a Techno-Viper. They are each arriving separately, but that's okay!

Between the VAMP, the comics and all these figures, it's been quite a Yo Joe March!

I was only going to get the soldier originally, but the action photos of the two divers working together sold me. Plus the extra heads helps make 2 distinct team members.
