Hello everyone. I’m Train and today I’m going off the rails with the Transformer franchise. Back in the day Transformers came in and gave a whole different dynamic to toys. A car, animal, or object that could transform into a robot. I loved the animated series as a kid. “Autobots roll out” is still one of my favorite lines. As a kid I did not have any Transformers. Money was always tight and I wanted GI Joe more then Transformers. So flash forward a few years or decades maybe lol, and in an attempt to find Joes on the shelf I turned to Transformers to fill the void. I have not bought all of them but I have slowly picked up a few here and there and now I’m in. Some of the characters are really awesome and I started out with a motorcycle because the Joes could ride him, but ended up with Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Soundwave. Then I grabbed some others like Arcee, Cheetor, and Blackarachnia. These are really cool and I pondered over many others and put them on the back burner once some Snake Eyes stuff started hitting shelves. I watched a couple of the movies and my plan is to watch them all and check out the animated series out there. Over all I would put Transformers in my top 5 now and I’m happy I picked up a few. They are about 50% of my collection. From g1 loose/misb to mp,3rd party mp, movie verse, and generations. I just preordered the auto converting optimus so im pretty excited for that

I have a large amount of transformers, I'm not all in on them. I will not buy any thing bayformers I roll g1 and chug basically any g1 inspired and a few beast wars guys also I really need to find the full run of beast wars it's been too long since I watched it but my top favorite bots are

Starscream ghost ( yes I have a chug ghost screemer)
Prime
Galvatron- mega
Soundwave
Punch counter punch Im only missing one version I still have my childhood g1
Skylinx - jet fire (tie)
Shock wave

I didn't have any Transformers as a kid, my aunt bought me Gobots instead. That said i started loving them in the early 90's during the Generation II resurgence and when they showed up in the G.I.Joe Comics. I didn't get my first Transformers until the late 90's early 2000's when the Beast Machines line was out and then into the 'Robots In Disguise' line, which looking back on was really funky and the figures transformed kind of weird. Around that time is when Rhino released all the original cartoons on DVD AND the 1987 movie. After watching all of that over and over at home and driving andrea nuts, i was hooked and i have been collecting Transformers ever since. Who are my favorites, I have never made a list i think but i will post one below.
