Superman: “Mother Goose Crimes!” In this story, Superman faces off against a gangster named Monk Malone, who adopts the alias “Mother Goose.” Malone and his goons, inspired by nursery rhyme characters like Humpty Dumpty, Little Bo-Peep, and Old King Cole, commit a series of crimes. Superman, alongside Lois Lane and a young girl named Susie Tompkins, works to thwart their criminal activities in Metropolis, particularly at Thimble’s Department Store.

Congo Bill: “The King of Gorillas!” Congo Bill’s adventure takes him to Africa, where he encounters Nick Morris, an ivory poacher. Alongside zoo superintendent Ed Perkins, animal trainer Fred Buckley, and zookeepers Gus Schultz and Joe Sardi, Congo Bill deals with trained gorillas and uncovers Morris’s nefarious activities.

Zatara: “Danger is Where You Make It!” The master magician Zatara teaches a valuable lesson about safety to school children. He confronts unnamed unsafe drivers, using his magic to prevent accidents and promote caution among the citizens of an unnamed city.

Vigilante: “The Girl Sheriff of Benton City!” In this tale, the Vigilante, also known as Greg Sanders, teams up with Jo Benton, the girl sheriff of Benton City. They face challenges from ex-sheriff Sam Gorman and gangster Tip Tyler. Vigilante’s sidekick, Stuff, the Chinatown Kid, also plays a role in the story.
