Superman: “The Magician’s Convention!” In this story, Superman deals with the unintended consequences of helping two former street salesmen of magic books, Hocus and Pocus, believe they were real magicians. Their newfound belief in their magical abilities leads to a series of complications for Superman. Vigilante: “An Animal Master!” The Vigilante, also known as Greg Sanders, along with his sidekick Stuff, the Chinatown Kid, confronts a new villain known as The Animal Master, or Fanger. This antagonist has the ability to control animals and uses them to commit crimes. The story also features goons named Dippy and Knuckles, and a monkey named Bosco. The action takes place in New York City, with the Vig-Cycle making an appearance as Vigilante’s vehicle.

Congo Bill: “The Reindeer Racketeers!” Congo Bill’s adventure takes him to Alaska, where he encounters a racketeer named Yukon Pete. The story involves Eskimo Tribesmen and highlights the exploitation of reindeer, which Congo Bill aims to stop.

Zatara: “Magic Sports!” Zatara’s story focuses on the theme of confidence and self-esteem in children, particularly those perceived as weak by their peers. The lack of opportunity for these children to athletically improve or succeed is portrayed as an abstract antagonist. The setting for Zatara’s tale is a baseball field.
