It is all going to come down to the Edey and Clingan matchup. If one of those two gets in foul trouble their team is toast. I think it will be a tight game right to the end though.

And then there were two... I'm glad Saturday's games were competitive. Alabama seemed like they even had a chance until 5 or 6 minutes left.

Proto picked Purdue to win it all and I picked UConn.
(Not who I wanted to win, but who I thought would win.)

It is amazing that none of us picked exactly the same team.

Who does everyone think wins it tonight?

Purdue definitely has a chance to "Pull a Virginia" by losing in a 1 vs 16 matchup, then being a 1 seed again the next year and winning it all. It's tough to do though.

Purdue has had challenges and some close games, but has overcome them.
UConn has steamrolled everyone up to Alabama, and in the end, they were able to weather that game as well.

I hope it isn't a matter of foul trouble between Edey and Clingan. It would be great to see those two giants going down to the wire.
I think they both will have great careers ahead in the NBA.

I have loved getting to see skilled centers play again. The game moving behind the 3 point line is boring to me and gets really old. There is a lot more strategy when the game is played through the post.

The first half was more entertaining and back and forth.

But the second half, UConn hit the afterburners down the stretch.

Final points total below. It was a good tournament, and glad we all had different champs picked. Thanks all for playing again this year!

I stopped watching at halftime to pack up for my conference. But caught the last 6 minutes or so on my phone.

I get to go to training once a year. But it's hard to pack this time of year. Could be 30s at night and 60s during the day. And we are super busy so the training is a bummer of a week this year. Oh well.
