In the ever-evolving Marvel Cinematic Universe, the eagerly awaited “Infinity Saga” has paved the way for the intriguing “Multiverse Saga.” Amidst the cosmic chaos, the upcoming film Thunderbolts stands out as a beacon of anticipation, set to unite the universe’s anti-heroes for a cinematic spectacle. Fans, brace yourselves, as Wyatt Russell hints at the commencement of filming in the spring of 2024.
The actor, known for his transformation from John Walker to the US Agent in Falcon and the Winter Soldier, is riding the wave of success following his latest series, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Russell expressed enthusiasm for his Marvel character, emphasizing the untapped potential of John. He eagerly praised the remarkable ensemble cast, noting, “I’m so lucky to get to work with the kind of talent that I’m going to work with when Thunderbolts starts up in March or April.”
Russell tantalizingly teased, “It just feels like we’re going for something that has depth and something interesting to theorize about beyond just flying around and doing superhero stuff.” Thunderbolts promises an exhilarating experience as the most unexpected characters unite to save the world. Alongside Russell, Sebastian Stan reprises his role as Bucky, and fans are eager to witness the chemistry that captivated audiences in Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
The star-studded cast includes Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov (Red Guardian), and Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov (Taskmaster), reprising their roles from the Black Widow film. With Natasha gone, the reunion of Yelena and Red Guardian is poised to evoke poignant moments. The ensemble also features Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. Notably, Harrison Ford will make a special appearance as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, marking his MCU debut in Captain America: Brave New World.
Mark your calendars for the Thunderbolts’ worldwide release on July 25, 2025, promising an unforgettable journey into the Marvel Multiverse.

At some point you would think that Disney would stop with these superhero movies and give it a rest. My understanding is people are suffering from superhero-fatigue.

They are starting to get the message that they need to make fewer of them and make the ones that they do release quality. There is only one Marvel movie coming in 2024 and that is Deadpool 3 with Ryan Reynolds and the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. I have high hopes for this film.john shaft wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 9:44 pm At some point you would think that Disney would stop with these superhero movies and give it a rest. Thunderbolts comes in 2025.
