Low Light and Scoop go on a recon mission at night to investigate Cobra's jungle base. Low Light has some trouble with the mission and explains to Scoop that he is afraid of the dark. Night Creeper leader is looking for a way to rescue his Night Creepers who are captured by the Joe team at the beginning of the episode. Unfortunately Cobra Commander is not interested in rescuing the Night Creepers, because he has something else in mind, he plans to raise mummies who were the ancestors of the Night Creepers from the dead using Destro's "Life Force Regenerator" device. Its up to Low Light and Scoop to find "The Ruby Heart of Darkness" which they will need to defeat the mummy warriors.
